This is a split tribute to my old war comics and to the graffiti twins from Brazil known as Os Gemos. I have always loved the colorfull heads and figures they paint and from time to time I find myself thinking "what would the Gemos do ?" when Im having a hard time figuring out my next step in a painting or something.
The bodies is more like the small "combat" comicbooklets that were popular when I was a child. Popular for me, not something all the kids liked. But they were good, great and simple drawings of world war 2. I would sit and look at them and learn how to draw tanks and uniforms, while others would learn how to swim and play football.
